I understand that providing false information on an application for employment is grounds for Quality Environmental Containers to refuse to hire me, or to terminate my employment in the event that the misrepresentation is discovered after I have been hired.
I further understand that I will be required to submit to a drug test as part of the application process before I am able to begin working for Quality Environmental Containers. I understand that the drug test is part of the pre-employment process and I specifically consent to participate in the drug test. I understand that if I do not pass the drug test, I will not be hired.
In submitting this application for employment, I authorize the investigation of all statements contained in it, and I understand that my current and/or former employers may be contacted to provide information concerning my suitability for employment, and that the references that I have listed above will be contacted concerning my suitability for employment. I expressly authorize Quality Environmental Containers to conduct such inquiries and I release Quality Environmental Containers and any responding parties from any and all liability associated with such inquiries.
I understand that nothing contained in this employment application or in the granting of an interview is intended to create an employment contract between the company and myself for either employment or for the providing of any benefit. No promises regarding employment have been made to me, and I understand that no such promises or guarantee is binding upon the company unless made in writing. If an employment relationship is established, I understand that I have the right to terminate my employment at any time and that the company retains the same right.
I understand that in the event that I am hired, I will be hired as an at-will employee and my employment may be terminated at any time, with or without cause, at the option of either the company or myself. I understand that no representative of the company except the President has any authority to enter into any legally binding employment agreement.
I understand that if employed, policies and rules that are issued are not conditions of employment and that the employer may revise policies or procedures, in whole or in part, at any time.
I understand that this application will be kept on active file for 180 days from the date completed, after which time I would have to reapply in accordance with established company procedures.
